Uromastyx geyri
Up to 20 years
Also known as Geyr's dabb lizard, these lizards are native to rocky desert areas of Algeria, Mali, and Niger.
Uromastyx geyri is almost entirely herbivorous, mainly eating leafy greens, flowers, and other vegetables.
Females are usually paler in color and simpler in pattern than the males.
The decreasing population of Uromastyx geyri is likely due to capture for the pet trade, hunting for food and habitat loss and degradation.
