Bald Eagle

Both Jack and Eva live with wing injuries that affect their ability to sustain flight and therefore cannot survive in the wild. Jack had suffered a gunshot wound that required amputation of his wing tip. Eva suffered an injury that left her missing primary feathers, which are necessary to lift off the ground and maintain flight.

Diet
Bald eagles are opportunistic carnivores who prey on a wide variety of animals. The majority of their diet is fish, but it is believed that over 400 species are considered prey animals of the bald eagle.
