Tuukka and Perry both came to The Zoo as surrendered pets. Perry is the larger of the two.

The majority of their diet is fruits, nuts, and berries. Occasionally, they will eat clay to detoxify their food, which is a mechanism known as geophagy.
Although listed as Least Concern, sulphur-crested cockatoo populations are decreasing in the wild.
