Range

Lionhead rabbits are recognized as a domesticated species, so they live where their human caretakers live.


Diet

Rabbits eat hay, leafy greens, and occasionally fruits and other vegetables. 80% of a rabbit's diet should be hay or hay pellets. Rabbits are lagomorphs, meaning their teeth never stop growing throughout their life. They require lots of roughage and opportunities to chew in order to keep their teeth from overgrowing.


Social Structure

Lionheads are often friendly and calm, making them good pets. They are smart enough to be potty trained and learn commands.
