African Grey Parrot

Cicero came to The Zoo as a surrendered pet in 2010. He has excellent mimicing abilities and likes to sing opera and say hello and goodbye. He loves fruit and often gets it all over his face when he eats.

African grey parrots eat fruit, nuts, and seeds.

African greys are highly intelligent, with some performing tasks at the cognitive level of a four- to six-year-old child.
